VICTORIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - YYJ
An air flight from Vancouver or Seattle is about 25- 30 minutes in length. The University of Victoria is about 30 minutes south from the Victoria International airport.

The Victoria International Airport - YYJ is served by major airlines.

FERRY AND GROUND TRANSPORTATION
BC Ferries run regularly between the BC mainland and Vancouver Island. The ferry from the Vancouver side terminal (Tsawwassen) to the Victoria side ferry terminal (Swartz Bay) takes about 1.5 hours, and can be boarded downtown Vancouver or at the Vancouver International Airport. Tsawwassen is about 40 minutes south of Vancouver and Victoria is about 45 minutes south from Swartz Bay.

A Bus service is available from the Vancouver International Airport to downtown Victoria (via BC Ferry System) at a cost of about $25.00 CDN. More information is available at the following websites:

HOW TO GET TO VICTORIA FROM THE SEATTLE AIRPORT BY FERRY
The simplest and most efficient way to get to Victoria from Seattle (other than flying) is to take the fast ferry service Victoria Clipper, which sails twice daily from downtown Seattle. If you are traveling by car, we suggest taking the Black Ball ferry from Port Angeles, about 1.5 hours west from Seattle. Be sure the check for current schedules, fares and connection times.

Victoria Clipper
The one way fare is approximately $72 US and takes about 3 hours. Reservations are recommended. Taxi and bus service is available from SeaTac the Clipper departure terminal (Pier 69, downtown waterfront).

Blackball Ferry
The Blackball Ferry leaves from the terminal located in downtown Port Angles and takes about 2 hours for the crossing. Vehicle and driver fare is $44 (passenger $11.50). Reservations recommended. Bus service from Seattle to Port Angeles is available through Olympic Bus Lines
